

Luca Chiappara is a world-renowned bass virtuoso, specializing in slap upright and electric bass. Originally from Italy, he now calls Nashville, Tennessee home.
With his signature style and unparalleled skill, he has played in the house band for some of the biggest rock’n’roll festivals in Europe and toured extensively with the Don Diego Trio. In America, he has shared the stage with an impressive roster of musicians, including Zachariah Malachi, Linda Gail Lewis, Slim Jim Phantom (Stray Cats), JD McPherson, C. Thomas Howell, and many more. Luca’s dynamic performances and musical prowess have earned him a place among the most sought-after bassists in the industry.
Currently, he’s touring with Zachariah Malachi and the Nashville Counts and playing Electric and Upright for the Backstage with C. Thomas Howell residency at the City Winery, Nashville.
